“ReboKultura: Breaking the Silence. Revolutionizing Music.” is UP Fair’s theme for this year. It is a weeklong demonstration of music from Feb. 14-18, 2012 to agitate our souls. Music is one form of art which expresses our culture, dreams and passions. The times today call for the shattering of all art’s notions as a passive entity. More and more, it should take on a revolutionary, active role in making of history.

Concert Venue: UP Sunken Garden, UP Diliman, Quezon City
This year’s proceeds will go to the victims of Bagyong Sendong in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan, Northern Mindanao and for the construction of new tambayans at the Vinzons Hall Annex.
About the UP Fair
The UP Fair is an annual event organized by the University of the Philippines-Diliman University Student Council (UPD USC) with partner organizations and institutions that serves as a venue of raising awareness, among the youth in particular, about issues of national significance. All funds raised go to beneficiaries such as dormitories and nearby communities.
As the biggest student-initiated activity in campus, this five-day socio-musical feast will definitely gather the people of all ages to the UP Sunken Garden, with an estimated 8,000 to 11,000 attendees every night. It features world-class Filipino artists and performers and showcases UP’s very own home-grown talents.
